In 2018, Byron and Amber Holland, embarked on a mission to capture the true essence of the beautiful island of Mallorca and infuse it into their products. As they were already involved in the alcohol industry, they saw the rise of craft distilling and recognized a golden opportunity to create something truly unique. It was then they realized that there was a lack of premium craft spirits in Mallorca, and decided to create some magic by experimenting with recipe development. Utilizing the island's abundance of botanicals and fresh produce, they introduced unusual and local ingredients, resulting in exceptional products that perfectly embody the spirit of Mallorca. Mallorca Distillery is the perfect representation of this island paradise in every sip.

In June 2018, Mallorca Distillery proudly opened its doors, marking the start of a beautiful journey to create something truly remarkable - the island's first organic, craft distillery in the heart of Palma de Mallorca. At the heart of our distillery lies a bespoke Spanish 500 litre copper pot still, which we use to produce award-winning organic spirits. We believe that every drop matters, which is why we pay intricate care and attention to every single distillation, ensuring an unparalleled focus on quality. Our spirits are crafted with passion and dedication, and we are proud to share them with the world.

The bottle design was inspired by the traditional Mallorcan tiles known as ‘suelo hidraulico’ that are handcrafted by a local family business, operating in Mallorca for over 80 years. It took us over 10 months to complete the label design, and only organic inks are used to print them on our bottles, resulting in an environmentally friendly, recyclable product.

Our logo takes inspiration from the stunning rose window by the La Seu Cathedral's westward rose window in Palma de Mallorca, one of the most spectacular Gothic cathedrals in Europe. The window commemorates Mallorca's heritage and is said to be a symbol of hope and beauty.

Mallorca's biodiversity is both plentiful and unique, providing the perfect spot to sustainably source our botanicals. We take pride in carefully selecting only the highest quality organic and locally foraged botanicals to create our exceptional spirits. Every one of our spirits is crafted with an expert blend of 15 locally foraged and organic botanicals, each one chosen for its natural aromatic properties to perfectly represent the island and capture the true essence of beautiful Mallorca.
